Step 1
Select the “Password/Security” module.
Step 2
Select “Set up virtual 2FA device”.
Step 3
Install and set up a 2FA authenticator.
- Install any one of the compatible apps on your mobile device.
For example, Google Authenticator can be found in the App Store or Google Play Store.
b) Scan the QR code shown using the Authenticator application on your mobile device.
For example, in the Google Authenticator, click “Begin Setup” and Scan the QR code. A time-based unique code would be generated.
Step 4
- Complete the final step by entering the time-based unique code generated on the Authenticator from your mobile device and click “Assign 2FA”. An email notification will be sent to you once the 2FA has been enabled.
Below are the steps to use this feature after it is enabled.
Step 1: Log in to your Fullerton Markets account.
Step 2: Enter the code generated from the Authenticator on your mobile device and click “Submit”. Note that the code will regenerate itself every 30 seconds.
To remove the virtual 2FA feature
You may remove the 2FA function at any time after the set-up by going back into the “Password/Security” module and selecting “Remove virtual 2FA device”. An email notification will be sent to you once the 2FA has been disabled.
