MT5 platform provides the flexibility of up to 21time frames. To accommodate this flexibility, the MT5 server stores its base charts in M1 and all other charts are derived from the base charts. On the MT5 platform, starts from 00:00 and ends at 24:00.
Hence, the MT5 H4 charts would start at 00:00 and this repeats in every 4 hour time frame.
For example, XAUUSD starts at 01:00 and ends at 24:00.
- MT4 H4 chart will start at 01:00 and end at 05:00
- MT5 H4 chart will start at 00:00 and end at 04:00
